Frequently Asked Questions

  • A typical website takes three weeks from discovery call to launch. If you need additional pages, e-commerce, booking systems, or branding work, the timeline extends depending on complexity.

  • If you are a private chef, caterer, food stylist, recipe developer, food photographer, or someone who values clean, minimalist design and is ready to attract higher-paying clients, then yes—this is for you. I work with clients who have a solid foundation and are ready for their next chapter: expanding services, elevating their brand, or building toward something bigger. If you are serious about growth and need a digital presence that supports where you are headed, let's talk.

  • The best way to prepare is to start gathering inspiration for your website. Collect examples you love (and ones you don't), existing brand materials (logos, colors, fonts), photos of your work, and your content—text, images, and branding files (unless branding is part of your package). Think about your ideal clients: Who are they? What do they need to know before they book you?

During our discovery call, we will walk through all of this together. I will ask the right questions to clarify your goals and vision. The more prepared you are, the smoother the process—but I am here to guide you every step of the way.

  • Absolutely, many of my clients come to me without established branding. I offer full brand identity services—logo design, color palettes, typography systems, and brand style guides—that we complete before or alongside your website design. During our discovery call, we will assess where you are and create a plan that makes sense for your timeline and budget.

  • Yes, we can absolutely move forward. Photography is one of the most common concerns, and every package I offer includes photography guidance and support. I will help you create a shot list, optimize any images you do have, and design your site so your work looks its best. If you need help finding a food photographer, I can guide you through that process and provide recommendations.

  • I build exclusively on Squarespace because it is the most reliable, user-friendly platform for service-based businesses. You get a professionally designed, mobile-responsive website with built-in SEO, security, and hosting. You can manage your own updates without needing help every time you change a price or add a photo. Premium results with long-term ease.

  • As with any website host, you have to pay a monthly or annual hosting fee.

You can find Squarespace's pricing on their website, but most of my clients require either the Business Plan, or the Basic Commerce Plan. If you work with me, you can get 20% off your first year too!

(Note: This cost, along with the cost of your domain, is separate to my website design fee.)

  • Yes. All of my packages include 30 days of post-launch support. During that time, I am available to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and help you make updates as you get comfortable with your site.

After your support period ends, I offer ongoing maintenance packages and one-off support as needed. Whether you need help adding a new page, integrating or just want someone to handle updates so you can focus on your business, I am here. You will never be left stranded with a website you can't manage.
